New York City is anything but hot, but we made sure to heat up the town on Friday night!
On a cold and rainy evening, we thankfully spent three wonderful hours indoors at the Palace theater, where we saw the new Broadway musical adaptation of Legally Blonde.
The music is a bit forgettable, but not totally horrible. However, the direction by Jerry Mitchell is wonderful and Laura Bell Bundy, who was just nominated for a Tony for her portrayal of Elle Woods, was truly amazing – in addition to her great voice she brought warmth, humor and depth to her potentially one dimensional character.
After the Broadway action we headed downtown to Stereo for the “Stereo By The Shore” launch party. The club’s Hamptons annex officially kicks off next weekend in the Hamptons and the Gossip Gangstar himself will be there!
Marc Jacobs (above with Perezelle) was there last night – with his on/off boyfriend Jason Preston.
And, fresh from her performance at Z100’s Zootopia, Fergie was the hostess for the evening, and she took to the mic to sing/MC over a few of her own songs.
In need of some faggity action, we headed over around 2 AM to the hottest gay Friday night party in NYC, Mr. Blacks.
Mr. Ass Shot was there, as usual.
