I went up to him and asked him if he can take a picture with me (no, I’m not that I’m a fan of his but I wanted to get a picture to send to you guys). He was so stuck up and said to me that he can’t take the picture because he will get in trouble (like he’s some huge star!!) and then he said the hotel wouldn’t let him. I was hoping my friend that was with me took a picture and he did with his phone!”

Lesson learned: Next time, don’t ask. Just point and snap and laugh as you do it!

The Tony Award nominations were announced Tuesday morning and the musical Spring Awakening received the most nominations of any show, a total of eleven.

Popster turned composer Duncan Sheik was nominated for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations for his work on the show.

Our fellow Cubanito from Miami, Raul Esparza, was nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor for his role in Company, a show we’re seeing this Saturday night.

And, Laura Bell Bundy was nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress for her role in Legally Blonde, which we’re seeing on Friday.

We love the musicals!
