The always-insightful Dina Lohansat down withUs Weekly and spoke to the magazine about her poor, victimized, misunderstood, totally normal daughter Lindsay.
The best mom in the world says:
Us Weekly: How is Lindsay holding up with the tape circulating?
Dina Lohan: “We’re not reading anything about it. You can’t let it bother you. We work so hard, then some girl just tried to make money off her [for that tape]. Lindsay doesn’t even know who her friends are.”
Do you think Lindsay is at the clubs too much?
“This [premieres and parties] is the fun part of the business. She’ll be 21 in a few months. Regardless, of course, as a parents, you set boundaries and scold them. But there are these dark stories – she is so misunderstood. All she wants to do is act and have a somewhat normal life. When you’re 20, it’s normal to want to go to The Ivy, to go to the hot stores, She can’t live in a bubble.”
Do you ever worry that she’s pushing herself too hard?
“When she doesn’t work, she’s so bored. I’ve told her, ‘Please slow down. Stop!’ She’s growing up and learning to do that. … I’m her mother first: Everything could go away, and I couldn’t care less.”
Victoria Beckham landed in Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, only this time she was followed around by a camera crew – her camera crew.
The former Spice Girl will be filming her life for a reality show (set to air on NBC) that documents her setting up shop in her new multi-million dollar McMansion in Beverly Hills and getting adjusted to life in LA.
I think most Americans will be surprised to hear Victoria speak and actually get to know her, asides from just looking at pictures of her pouting.
She’s more than just a fake-tittied alien robot….we think!

Moving from Asia to South America, producer Roy Lee, found a colombian film to shot in a U.S. version, starring well known actress, Nicole Kidman. The film “Al Final del Espectro” has had a good box office and let´s say an acceptable review from the critics in my beloved country Colombia. The movie a terror film “au la colombien”, shows a young woman Vega who suffers agoraphobia moves into an apartment to live on her own. Mysterious things start to happen. A dramatic and psychological enigma that Vega tries to bare by placing cameras all over the place.
Roy Lee producer (the Departed, Lake House, Eight Below, the Eye, the rings and the grudges and Dark Water) may hire the colombian director Juan Carlos Orozco but they are still in negotiation.Â
The bad news: Fergie‘s really trying to make the high-waisted jeans with suspenders and a hat look her new “signature.”
The good: Heroes hottie Milo Ventimiglia stars in her new video for her song Big Girls Don’t Cry.
The Fergie: After the awesome singles, London Bridge, Fergalicious and Glamorous, Big Girls Don’t Cry was not the strongest song to release next. Here I Come or Mary Jane Shoes would have been much better choices.
Anyhooo……

PerezHilton.com reader Lily had a less than pleasant experience with the former Mr. Britney Spears and writes in to tell us about it.
She says, “So I saw K-Fed this past weekend at Mandalay Bay at a coffee shop. I went up to him and asked him if he can take a picture with me (no, I’m not that I’m a fan of his but I wanted to get a picture to send to you guys). He was so stuck up and said to me that he can’t take the picture because he will get in trouble (like he’s some huge star!!) and then he said the hotel wouldn’t let him. I was hoping my friend that was with me took a picture and he did with his phone!”
Lesson learned: Next time, don’t ask. Just point and snap and laugh as you do it!
Just one week after being arrested for drunk driving, Extreme Makeover host Ty Pennington had to launch his new magazine – Ty Pennington At Home – Monday in NYC.
Wipe that smirk off your face!
He probably does have good tips on finding the perfect wine, though.
