Kim Kardashian went to lunch in Beverly Hills yesterday and got some love from the paparazzi. She didn’t even have to fake an engagement or jewel theft. In the meantime, I wonder how often this exchange happens when the paps are taking Kim’s picture. Probably a lot:
Pap #1: Wow, great day. Didn’t think I’d see any celebs.
Pap #2: Me too. This worked out well. Say, what is this chick famous for again?
Pap #1: Some dude peed on her.
Pap #2: Stops shooting. Opens up his camera. Lets the film spill out.
Pap #1: What’re you doing?
Pap #2: I’m going back to shooting midget porn. At least I’ll feel a sense of pride and dignity so I can look my kid in the eye at the dinner table.
Pap #1: Stares at his camera. My God, man, you’re right. Do you think I can get a job in midget porn, too?
Pap #2: Only if you can dream big enough. Only if you can dream... Also you need your own midget. Union rules. Don’t worry, I know a guy. Now let's go be heroes - friend.
Based on a true story. The End.

ATLANTA, Jan. 10, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- She may not wear that famous designer red dress worn by Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) flight attendants, but master sommelier, TV host and author Andrea Robinson is adding her own stylish touch to travel with a sophisticated wine program boarding in February and a new in-flight program revealing little-known travel tips from regarded foodies, called "Local Flavor."

Filed under: Awards, Celebrities and Controversy, Scripts, Politics In what has got to be the best quote of the WGA strike so far, NBC Entertainment Co-Chief (and former prom king, perhaps?) Ben Silverman, bitching about the Golden Globes being canceled, reportedly said about the writer's strike to Ryan Seacrest, " Sadly, it feels like the nerdiest, ugliest, meanest kids in the high school are trying to cancel the prom. But NBC wants to try to keep that prom alive."
Awww, isn't that sweet of NBC? They wanted to keep the prom going for all the cheerleaders and jocks but those dorky-ass kids at the writers' table had the audacity to band together and spoil all the fun. And here he already swiped a bottle of Everclear from the folks' liquor cabinet to spike the punch, too. Seriously though, if we're going to compare Hollywood to high school (and I'm not saying I disagree with that) and the Globes to the prom, let's be realistic here. Since when are the kids relegated to the nerdy lunch table the "meanest" kids in school? At my high school, they were the ones getting the sh*t kicked out of them by the rich jocks, who only wanted anything to do with them if they were stealing their lunch money or getting the brainy kids to write papers for them so they wouldn't get kicked off varsity. Oh, wait ... that DOES sound a bit like Hollywood. Having to cancel the Globes -- the highest rated awards show after the Oscars -- cost NBC a pretty penny. E! News reports that NBC paid between five and six million for rights to the show, off which the network makes back $10-15 million in ad revenue. Ouch. That's a lot of lunch money. Go nerds! The woman being chased by Lindsay Lohan before the star’s notorious DUI arrest last July wants her day in court.
According to papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in late December and obtained by the Associated Press, Tracie Rice was in a vehicle pursued by Lohan and driven by Michele Peck, the mother of Lohan’s recently resigned assistant.
Rice is seeking damages amid claims that because of the pre-dawn incident she has had to shell out $7,000 in medical expenses, including those to a $175-per-visit therapist. She also says she lost her $60,000-per-year job.
In her papers, Rice says that $3,500 has been spent with the therapist in dealing with her residual terror. She also saw a physician, a chiropractor and a pharmacist – and paid roughly $150 for prescriptions. An additional $2,000 was said to be paid in miscellaneous expenses.
Rice states she thought she was being carjacked when an SUV, driven by Lohan, pursued her and Peck at high speed, putting the two of them “at extreme risk of death or injury,” until they made it to the Santa Monica police station and were greeted by officers with guns drawn.
In August, Rice filed suit against Lohan for emotional distress. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and payment of medical and other expenses related to emotional distress.
Lohan’s rep had no comment.
Lohan is working on her sobriety, her lawyer has said, but was recently seen slipping. After spending two months in a Utah rehab in 2007, Lohan was videotaped drinking from a champagne bottle on New Year’s Eve in Italy.
After a plea deal, Lohan spent a mere 84 minutes in jail last November for both DUI charges.

Amy Winehouse visited her husband Blake-Fielder Civil in prison today. She spent a few minutes getting her new blonde hairdo ready in the car to surprise Blake. She also looks inexplicably cleavagey which is gross considering it’s Amy Winehouse. It’s sort of like seeing a dumpster with boobs on it. But way less hot and you wouldn’t try to make out with Amy Winehouse. No matter how many banana peels are in her purse.

Adnan Ghalib's ex-girlfriend is speaking out about the shady paparazzo that's whisked Britney Spears away to Mexico.
His former lover, Nichole Grimes, is warning the troubled mother of two that he is a "ladies' man" and isn't to be trusted.
She told the Britain's Daily Star: "Britney should watch out - he's wild. To say he was a ladies' man was an understatement. He couldn't get enough. He's mad and sex-mad. When we met I thought he was this lovely young Asian boy from a strict family. I was head-over-heels in love. Then I discovered he'd been secretly hitting on my friend behind my back. Some people may wonder what this guy from a strict Muslim family is doing with a party animal like Britney. But I reckon he's wilder than her."
Poor Britney, being taken advantage of yet again.
Break the cycle!
Save Britney.
