Blu-ray Review: Die Hard – With a Vengeance

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

Not the best, but easily the most entertaining of the Die Hard movies.
For an action franchise to succeed, the series must continually up the ante, throwing characters in increasingly unbelievable situations. Die Hard – With a Vengeance does just that. It's fast, it's funny, and light years ahead of the disappointing Die Hard 2.Yes, this third edition of the box office favorite doesn't try to be…

Mushy Fartone was on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning, and thankfully, Ryan got her to talk about her DUI arrest last month.

She said of her incident, which also included possession of prescription pills not made out to her and driving without a valid license:

"I was pulled over and obviously, I'm 100% responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I'm not perfect and I don't intend to do anything this stupid again."

How many times did she practice saying that???

Mushy revealed that she will be going to the Sundance Film Festival later this month for a movie she's in.

See you there, bitch!

Michelle Rodriguez released after serving 10% of sentence

Thursday, January 10th, 2008
0110_michelle_rodriguez_mug_00.jpg The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department released Lost star Michelle Rodriguez after she served 18 days of her 180 day sentence for DUI. The Sheriff has made similar decisions to release inmates early in the cases of Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and others. However, the judge was adamant he wanted Michelle to serve her full sentence and is furious with the Sheriff, according to TMZ:
Law enforcement sources say the Sheriff felt he had to treat Rodriguez the way he treats every other female inmate. Because of severe overcrowding, the standard is to release everyone after they serve 10% of their time. Even though the judge drew the line in the sand and demanded the full nine yards, the Sheriff felt equality was more important.
Meanwhile, poor Kiefer Sutherland is trying to convince the guards he has a vagina. So far, no dice. It’s a documented fact that Jack Bauer pees pure freedom into the face of terrorists. And he does it standing up. I’m pretty sure that’s in the Bible.

Zach Braff Wants to Tap That …

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

We haven't posted one of these Speechless videos in awhile, but I came across Zach Braff's video today over at Deadline Hollywood and it made me laugh. It might not make you laugh; you might hate Zach Braff. Hate is a strong word, actually -- you might dislike the fellow. But it made me laugh. And I'm going to take a chance and hope at least three of you laugh as well. Actually, all I need is one other person to laugh and it'll be worth it. Even if 70 of you don't laugh, I'll feel good about that one person laughing. It will brighten up my day. In case you forgot, these videos were conceived of by writer-director George Hickenlooper and writer Alan Sereboff. Each vid features a SAG actor, and they're supposed to suport the concept that without writers, there would be no movies or TV shows or fun in the universe. So watch Braff's video up top, then head beyond the jump for another video and an extra special surprise!

UPDATE: Pamela Anderson is pregnant

Thursday, January 10th, 2008
Thumbnail image for 0104_pamela_anderson_newyear_01.jpg Pamela Anderson is pregnant with Rick Salomon’s baby, according to TMZ. However, that’s not stopping her from moving ahead with their divorce:
Salomon has told friends he believes she is "acting crazy" because of the pregnancy and hopes she will settle back into the marriage. Interestingly, in her divorce petition, Anderson asked for spousal support but not child support.
Okay, I can understand the husband leaving the wife for getting pregnant. Her egg, her fault. That’s simple geometry. But the wife leaving the husband? Is that legal? Can they do that? I mean, how will shirts get ironed? And, oh God, the dishes! Hold me. UPDATE: Pamela Anderson posted a simple "No." on her blog which her rep confirmed to People is in response to the pregnancy rumors.
