Girls just wanna have fun – and Lindsay Lohan is no exception.

The 21-year-old actress – who was sued last week by a former bodyguard – spent the weekend hitting the hottest clubs in L.A. with her good pal, DJ Samantha Ronson.

The duo got a jumpstart on the weekend Thursday night, when they hit the upstairs VIP area of Goa. Lohan (who has said she’s “back on track” after her stints in rehab) bopped to the music as Ronson spun in the DJ booth. “Lohan was obviously having a good time, dancing very sexy,” says an onlooker. “She was quite the center of attention.”

The next night, it was all about Foxtail: Lohan sat at a table near the dance floor nursing a bottle of Voss water while Ronson worked the room saying hello to friends. Later, they snuck a few cigarettes at their indoor table.

And finally, to round out their weekend, they hit Teddy’s at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Saturday.

Ronson headed back to the DJ booth while Lohan – in a black tank dress and black boots – chatted with friends at a nearby table. The actress kept things low-key, but perked up noticeably when Ronson spun Madonna and Justin Timberlake’s new single, “4 Minutes.” Later, during Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body,” Ronson threw her arms around Lohan as the two moved to the music.

Toni Braxton’s recent hospital visit has resulted in her canceling the rest of this month’s performances of her Las Vegas show.

The showroom at the Flamingo Las Vegas, where the 40-year-old has been headlining in Toni Braxton: Revealed, shall remain dark this week while Braxton undergoes additional medical tests following her April 7 hospitalization for chest pain, the Associated Press reports.

She is due to return to the show May 6. Until then, the Flamingo will offer refunds for the canceled shows.

The six-time Grammy winner – who on a previous occasion was treated for hypertension and pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart – was released from the hospital April 8 after undergoing precautionary tests at a Las Vegas medical facility. She was said to be resting at home.

And baby makes five for Cate Blanchett and her writer-director husband, Andrew Upton.

Their third child, son Ignatius Martin, was born Sunday at a Sydney hospital, according to Australian magazine WHO. Just two days earlier Blanchett had attended her younger sister’s university graduation.

The couple, who are based in Australia, already have two sons: Dashiell John, 5, and Roman Robert, 3.

In November, when she confirmed her pregnancy, Blanchett, 38, was informed of rumors that she was carrying a boy, prompting her to respond: “You know more than me. It’s early days yet. It’s due in April.”

The Aviator Supporting Actress Oscar winner and Upton are currently co-directors of the Sydney Theatre Company – a career move partly made in the interests of her children. Elder son Dashiell, says his mom, “needs to be settled, and I respect that.”

And the new little one seemed settled, too – even at February’s Oscars. As Blanchett – with a very full belly – strolled the red carpet, she said, “He’s actually asleep – believe it or not, which bodes well.”

Britney Spears is unhurt after being involved in a highway accident Saturday evening in the Los Angeles area.

The pop star was driving her 2008 white Mercedes northbound on the 405 connector to the 101 freeway when the collision occurred at 8:18 p.m., the California Highway Patrol confirmed.

According to the accident report, “The collision occurred when the driver of the Mercedes, driving in the #3 lane, in stop and go traffic failed to observe the vehicle directly ahead of her come to a complete stop. She attempted to brake but failed to stop her vehicle prior to colliding into the rear of the Nissan [in front of her].”

The Nissan, as a result, collided into another car, which was not damaged. No one was injured, according to the report.

Later on Saturday night, Spears went out to dinner at Dominick’s in West Hollywood with her mother Lynne – driven by bodyguards.

With 50 attendants and a $1 million diamond ring, Ivana Maria Trump married Rossano Rubicondi Saturday before 500 friends and family members at Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach estate of her ex, Donald Trump.

“I am so happy my friends from around the world came to be with me on my wedding day,” Ivana Trump said before the ceremony.

Under a 15-ft. arch covered in orchids and roses, Trump, 59, and Rubicondi, 35, an Italian model-actor she has dated for six years, shared short kisses after exchanging vows. The ceremony was conducted by Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, The Donald’s sister, and was attended by the man himself.

Their sons, Donald Jr., 30, and Eric, 24, gave the bride away, while daughter Ivanka, 26, served as mom’s maid of honor.

Taking inspiration from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Trump was prepared for a colorful night with three pink dresses: a silk Zuhair Murad wedding gown, a cocktail dress and a dinner dress.

Guests, including actor George Hamilton and Kathy and Rick Hilton, will dine in the gold and white Grand Ballroom amid thousands of flowers, the same room where Donald and Melania Trump hosted their wedding dinner three years ago. A 12-ft.-high chocolate wedding cake was flown in from Germany.

Also imported: the 24-piece orchestra, which flew in from Paris. Says wedding planner Cheryl Clisby: “It proves that no matter what the age of the bride, she gets whatever she wants on her wedding day.”

As for how the bride – who was wed to Donald Trump for more than 13 years – is approaching her new marriage, she said last fall at her engagement party: “It just feels right. I have no fears.” She called her fiancé “a great guy with a lot of talent” who “always has a smile on his face.”

For Rubicondi, he’s in as much awe. “She’s an amazing woman. Beautiful, smart, sexy, powerful, successful, young in spirit,” he said. “We have fun together – otherwise I wouldn’t be getting married!”

Jodie Sweetin and her husband of less than a year now have their very own Full House: The actress has given birth to a baby daughter.

Baby Zoie was delivered via C-section Saturday afternoon, and arrived weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and is 21 in. long.

“Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie,” says a rep for the actress.

Sweetin announced her pregnancy in September after reportedly giving her sonograms to TMZ.com. In January, she announced to the Celebrity Baby Blog that her due date was April 6 and the baby would be a girl.

The former Full House star, 26, married set designer Cody Herpin, her second husband, in a small Las Vegas ceremony on July 14, 2007. The pair tied the knot at the Little Church of the West in front of a few friends.

At the time, Sweetin said, “Cody is my best friend. I married my best friend, and I couldn’t ask for anything more. He’s an unbelievable person.”

New mom Halle Berry is getting by with a little help from a friend who knows something about parenting – and Hollywood.

“We’ve e-mailed, and she’s loving motherhood,” Nancy O’Dell said at Thursday’s National Lampoon’s One, Two, Many premiere in Hollywood. Berry, 41, gave birth to daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry last month.

“She is loving every minute of it, couldn’t be any happier,” Access Hollywood host O’Dell, who is friends with Berry, says. “She’s going to be such a great mom.”

O’Dell, 42, who herself gave birth last June to daughter Ashby Grace, sent Berry a lengthy e-mail of motherly advice – and the Oscar-winning actress replied with thanks.

“I sent her a whole page e-mail about things I wish friends had told me,” O’Dell says. “I said, ‘I wish people had given me this advice. They didn’t, so I’m going to give it to you.’ She was appreciative, really appreciative.”

Berry’s daughter will be a fine addition to kids’ play dates, O’Dell Says, though she joked that she was holding out for Berry to have a boy.

“I’m glad she had a girl, so the girls can play, but the other side of me went, I bet that would be a very attractive young boy to set up with my girl,” O’Dell said. “I was pulling for either one.”

Rapper Vanilla Ice was released from a Palm Beach County, Fla., jail Friday after being arrested Thursday night for alleged domestic battery.

A judge ordered the musician (real name: Robert Van Winkle) not to have contact with his wife Laura, except by phone.

The rapper, 40, was released on his own recognizance.

Sheriffs responded to a call from a Wellington, Fla., home Thursday night about a domestic dispute. According to an arrest report, Laura Van Winkle allegedly told a deputy that her husband only pushed her, although she initially told a dispatcher she’d been “struck” and “kicked.”

The rapper is due back in court May 5.

Rapper Vanilla Ice was arrested Thursday night for domestic battery, according to Palm Beach County, Fla., sheriffs.

The musician, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, is currently in police custody and is due in court Friday, according to Lt. Tim Temperato.

Van Winkle, 40, was booked at 10:42 p.m., the sheriff’s Web site shows.

On Friday, a judge “will determine if there was probable cause for the arrest,” Temperato said.

No further details of the arrest were available.

If the judge decides the arrest was justified, Van Winkle will either be given a bond, or be released on his own recognizance.

TMZ.com was first to report the arrest.

The day after Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz announced their engagement, their loved ones say they couldn’t be happier about the news.

“My sister is overflowing with joy,” says Ashlee’s older sibling, Jessica Simpson. “Pete is an incredible soul. They naturally bring out the best in each other. I couldn’t be happier.”

And their dad, Joe, weighed in from Augusta, Ga., where he is in town watching the Masters golf tournament with Jessica’s beau, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. He confirms that Wentz, the bassist for Fall Out Boy, asked his permission to propose to Ashlee.

“[Pete] did ask me,” says Joe. “I told him that I would be honored to have him as part of my family.”

Yesterday the newly engaged couple posted a statement on friendsorenemies.com saying, “We are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes – it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us.”
