Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher star as strangers who wake up a married couple after a crazy night in Las Vegas in director Tom Vaughn\'s (STARTER FOR 10) feature film. Joy (Diaz) is the type of woman who makes plans to make plans. She\'s expecting a marriage proposal, but her live-in boyfriend, Mason (Jason Sudeikis), has other ideas. When he dumps her, Joy heads to Vegas to forget her troubles with her friend Tipper (Lake Bell) and discovers her fun, spontaneous side. Unfortunately, she also wakes up with recently unemployed Jack (Kutcher) as her husband. The two quickly decide to divorce, but the plot thickens when Jack wins a $3 million slot jackpot using Joy\'s quarter. Since neither one of them wants to give up the cash, they each try to drive the other to file for divorce and give up the bounty. But love has a funny way of appearing when you least expect it, and in acting their worst, Joy and Jack actually bring out the best in each other.<br><br>Diaz and Kutcher have nice onscreen chemistry and make a very photogenic couple. Treat Williams stars as Jack\'s difficult-to-please father, while Rob Corddry is Jack\'s best friend, Hater. Queen Latifah and Dennis Miller appear briefly as a marriage counselor and divorce court judge, respectively. The Vegas scenes are flashy and fun--just like Sin City--and the settings for the New York City scenes differentiate nicely between Joy\'s organized, structured life and Jack\'s less serious, happy-go-lucky attitude.

Lewis\'s beloved CHRONICLES OF NARNIA series, PRINCE CASPIAN finds the four Pevensie children--Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley)--once again whisked away from WWII-era England into the realm of Narnia, where the siblings once ruled as royalty. However, the Pevensies soon discover that 1,300 years have passed since they left, and the world is now controlled by the Telmarines, humans who long ago banished the magical creatures of Narnia to the wilderness. When the heir to the Telmarine throne, Caspian (Ben Barnes), survives an assassination attempt plotted by his scheming uncle, Miraz (Sergio Castellitto), the noble youth stumbles across Narnia\'s exiled enchanted population, and decides to lead them in an uprising, aided by Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy.<br><br>Considerably darker and more action-packed than THE LION, THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE, this 2008 sequel, once again directed by Andrew Adamson, is driven by the struggle between the Telmarines and the banished Narnians, resulting in many fierce battle sequences. While the newcomer Barnes and the established quartet of Moseley, Popplewell, Keynes, and Henley are all in fine form, CASPIAN is largely enhanced by its supporting cast, which includes indie mainstay Peter Dinklage as the dour dwarf Trumpkin and revered British comedian Eddie Izzard as the voice of the swashbuckling mouse Reepicheep. Also briefly reprising their roles from the previous film are Liam Neeson, as the voice of Aslan, and Tilda Swinton, as the White Witch, actors who bring their familiar personas to this engaging and entertaining second chapter in the NARNIA saga.
‘Angels & Demons’ Forbidden from the Vatican

On June 5th, production began on Angels and Demons, the sequel (wait, wasn't the book a prequel?) to tepid religious mystery/global mega-hit The Da Vinci Code.
On June 9th, Jessica Barnes brought to our attention a couple of photos from said shoot.
And as of June 16th, the Vatican has formally denied the long-awaited request on behalf of the filmmakers to film crucial scenes within the critical churches of Santa Maria del Popolo and Santa Maria della Vittoria.
According to Variety, the proper permits require cooperation between the Italian government and the Vatican. However, since "the film pursues a type of fantasy that damages common religious sentiment," they were not approved. The production has already relocated to near Naples in an effort to double the needed interior shots, and the film is still scheduled to open on May 15, 2009.
Tom Hanks' hair could not be reached for comment at the time of this post.

Katherine Heigl slipped off to Mexico this weekend with her husband Josh Kelley. When I initially found out there were bikini pics of Katherine, I expected some sexy awesomeness. What I got instead is akin to seeing my arthritic grandma lumber across the dunes of Tatooine. Anyone who got that joke, I just want you to know not all girls look like this. Keep trying to make contact and, eventually, one of them will touch your lightsaber. Statistics is on your side! NOTE: The Geekologie Writer is on record saying he'd hit it. I informed him we were talking about Katherine Heigl and not my grandmother. He has since retracted his statement. Not sure what he did with all that prune juice though.

Scott Baio Talks About His Baby’s Health Scare

Scott Baio went from confirmed bachelor to doting dad last November when his daughter Bailey DeLuca was born, saying, “I’ve loved my life. My life has been great, but this [fatherhood] makes it.”
Then, just one day after his baby girl came home from the hospital, Baio, 47, and his then-fiancée Renee Sloan, 39, were hit with shocking news – Bailey had tested positive for a potentially fatal disorder, according to the couple’s account on Celebrity Baby Blog.
“[I could] hear it in her voice,” Renee said of a call from the pediatrician for them to bring Bailey to the hospital for more tests. After some tests showed the premature baby might have GA-1, a metabolic disorder that can cause seizures and leads to coma and even death, the couple were torn apart with worry. “It was the worst time in my life,” Baio admitted.
“Every breath that you take, every thought that you have, every moment that you’re conscious, it’s all you’re thinking about,” Baio told CBB. “The disease is a constant in your brain. It never leaves you.”
The couple married in December, showing no signs that Bailey, who was at the ceremony, might be sick. But, “every time [Scott] would see a child, see a baby, he would just break down,” said Renee. “It was so tough to go through the holidays, our wedding … all the while knowing, our kid may die.”
Testing took 10 weeks, and when doctors told the couple Bailey was completely healthy and in the clear – the result had been a false positive – “we jumped through the ceiling,” Baio said.
Now 7-months old, Bailey is healthy but her parents have a thankful outlook and want to use their experience to help others.
“In a way I’m glad I went through it. Because this sort of thing puts everything else in perspective,” Baio said, adding of the foundation they are establishing, “We know we need to be a voice here, and that’s what we’re trying to do.

Kevin Federline’s ‘Father of the Year’ event attended by at least one hot chick

Kevin Federline was dubbed "Father of the Year" yesterday at Club Prive in Las Vegas. Kevin reportedly showed up two hours late for the honor then requested the award ceremony be private so clubgoers couldn't see it. (Having kids is nature's own cockblock. Google it.) Us Magazine reports:
"I'm surprised," Federline said when asked how it felt to win the title.Maxim model Tami Donaldson (above) also showed up for the festivities to provide the obligatory side boob: a staple of any good Fathers Day. Which is why every year I send my dad a stripper-gram. Sure, he's got high blood pressure, and mom threatened to shoot the next one, but it's one day out of the year when I can say "I love you, dad" the only way I know how. Is that so wrong? Or worth pressing charges? UPDATE: I'm out of the will, and the stripper-gram company says I owe them a red-head before five. He got my letter! *sigh*
Federline, 30, hit up the club with a group of male pals — including divorce attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan — just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer Jet to Mexico

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are taking their relationship in a new direction – south of the border.
Last Friday, the couple – who first stepped out in public in April – headed for a little R&R at Casa Aramara, the sprawling beachfront home of Girls Gone Wild mogul Joe Francis, in Punta Mita, Mexico.
The house is a hot spot for celebs: Demi Moore celebrated her 45th birthday there in November, and Aniston has visited the pad with former beau (and costar) Vince Vaughn and platonic pal Orlando Bloom.
This time around, the couple and a group of friends spent the weekend lounging on the house’s beachfront patio, enjoying their Mexican getaway.
“Jen spent time laying out on the loungers on the patio. John was always around, standing by her, making sure she was comfortable,” says an onlooker.
Before departing for Mexico, Aniston and Mayer were also spotted discreetly holding hands June 12 while double dating with Aniston’s BFF and former Friends costar Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette.
