Lynne and Jamie Spears are in court today request the judge create a conservatorship which would allow Jamie and Lynne to be in control of Britney's medical care, according to TMZ:

The conservatorship would also allow them to control Britney's financial affairs. Both parents have made it clear: they believe Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib are squandering Brit's assets.

The main issue seems to be money which Sam Lutfi says Lynne is after and Lynne says Sam is after. However a family source provided People with some interesting info:

"As the money came in, the family began to fight more. If Britney was aggravated with Lynne, maybe Bryan would side with Britney because he was on the payroll." Now, "It doesn't seem like there's much of a payroll, I guess they might have to get jobs like the rest of us." Sources confirm Lynne's Kentwood mansion Serenity is still paid for by her eldest daughter.

Then again a source in the Federline camp paints an interesting picture of Sam that explains the rants Britney made about Lynne and her boyfriend:

The source also says Lutfi has been "telling Britney that Adnan [Ghalib] and her mother have been conspiring to do this so he looks like a savior. It's really sick and crazy."

Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital this week.

The singer was suffering from dehydration and needed to be put on a drip to get fluids and essentials back in her system.

Wino's hospitalization was needed, her father says, because she had been vomiting a lot - one of the symptoms of withdrawal.

Withdrawal is good! It means Amy's not back on drugs, hopefully.

Mitch Winehouse said the star was moved to a hospital because her rehab facility did not have sufficient medical facilities.

"Everything is going according to plan and she's perfectly OK," Mr Winehouse told BBC radio station 1Xtra, adding that she was now back in the rehab clinic.

Nice to see Amy is sticking with her treatment!

Michelle Wiliams is speaking publicly for the first time since the tragic death of Heath Ledger.

The grieving actress' publicist released a statement on Friday. It reads:

"Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him."

Michelle Williams released the following statement today regarding the death of Heath Ledger. It is the first statement she's made since Heath's body was found last Tuesday in a New York City apartment, according to Reuters:

Britney's parents, Jamie & Lynne Spears are heading to court TODAY to officially and legally take control of their daughter's treatment.

Osama Lutfi's pussy is about to explode!

Jamie and Lynne Spears are divorced but providing a united front in trying to make sure that their beloved daughter gets better.

Brit's parents are said to be concerned about the welfare of their daughter and upset because Osama - her "manager" - is trying to call the shots.

Jamie and Lynne are going to ask the court to establish a conservatorship, which is done for people whose personal health and welfare is gravely at risk.

The conservatorship which would allow both Jamie and Lynne to make medical decisions on behalf of Britney. It would also allow them to control Britney's financial affairs.

However, Jamie and Lynne want an independent co-conservator appointed — someone unrelated to the family — to avoid even an appearance they are interested in spending Britney's money.

Both parents believe Lutfi's influence has placed their daughter and her assets at risk.

When Britney Spears was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning she had her own motorcade which included at least a dozen LAPD officers, a helicopter, and a special mental health unit. Some people consider this a tad excessive, but Ana Aguirre, a spokesperson for the LAPD, says that Britney’s house is practically a tourist attraction with over 100 people camped outside. E! Online reports:

Another reason for the law enforcement parade: history. The last time Britney had to go to the hospital—on Jan. 3—the scene got pretty nuts.
One photographer even attempted to jump on top of Spears' ambulance, Aguirre tells me. "At that point we were out-resourced," Aguirre explains, and the police didn't want that to happen again.

However UCLA law professor Gary Blasi thinks that a few cops with guns could handle the unarmed paparazzi:

"In terms of equipment, repairs and possible overtime—and whether they had to do overtime—I would guess [the escort] cost well over $10,000," Blasi says. "I wouldn't second-guess the tactical needs of the police, but I hope if any of my friends need emergency transport they can get the same service."

Seriously, the paparazzi aren’t that hard to deal with. I tangle with them every morning. Sure, some might say it’s just a bunch of stuffed animals I put in my yard with disposable cameras and I yell profanities at them until my neighbors call the cops. I fail to see the difference. Those Pound Puppies need to respect my privacy or else I’ll bring the thunder. And by thunder I mean the garden hose.
