Jack Black and wife Tanya Haden are adding another baby to their family, the actor said Saturday.
“Yes, she’s expecting,” Black told reporters at the Be Kind Rewind press day at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. He declined to name a due date.
The couple, who eloped in March 2006, are already parents to a 1½-year-old boy.
So far, Black says he’s taken on parenting with a “day-by-day” strategy. “I’ve been told that two children is three times as hard as one child,” he joked, “but then strangely three children is easier than one.”

Rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) and his on again, off again girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle of the ’90s R&B group Xscape, are expecting another child together, the musician’s rep confirms.
Cottle, 32, recently posted the news that the couple are expecting a baby boy on her personal Myspace page, which has garnered many congratulatory comments from friends and fans.
This will be the fifth child for T.I., 27, and his second with Cottle. The couple are already parents to son King Harris, 3.
News of the pregnancy comes in the middle of T.I.’s house arrest sentence in Georgia for illegal weapons charges. The rapper was arrested last October for allegedly trying to buy machine guns and silencers. He was released on a $3 million bond until the outcome of his trial, which is still pending, but must be under home confinement.

Britney Spears was let go from Cedars Sinai medical center because she no longer posed an imminent threat to herself as perceived by the hospital, PerezHilton.com.
The trainwreck demanded to be released, and Cedars Sinai had no choice but to let her go.
A source tells us, "It is very difficult to keep a patient in a psych ward at a hospital for longer than 24 to 48 hours. Even if you have tried to committ suicide (which Brit did not do) you are released as soon as you are no longer a threat to yourself. It is very very rare for someone to be in the psych ward of a hospital for more than a week or two even after attempting suicide."
Continues our source, "Brit is no different than other mentally ill people. After being admitted and given meds they are released if they are not a suicidal threat to themselves or others."
Spears' father, Jamie, was with Britney the morning of her release.
Update:
Britney probably left AMA (against medical advice), we're told.
A source says, "Normally, you have to have a court order or judge ruling to keep someone against their will in the hospital."
Britney's dad or lawyers should do that ASAP!!!!!!!

Another dull splatter fest in a series that has never acknowledged its source material.
Why make a video game movie if you’re barely going to acknowledge anything in said video game? That’s been the problem with the Resident Evil franchise from the start as it picks pieces from the game and crafts a completely random story around them. Extinction offers the best action of the three, but the story is uninteresting and the characters…

It could have been a richer meditation on life, but it ends up trading in on Nicholson?s and Freeman?s personas rather than rejuvenating them.
They ought to make a special lifetime achievement award for Morgan Freeman as Best Wise Mentor in the movies, as directors tap on him again and again to open and close their films with his narrations of witty and pithy maxims. Rob Reiner gets his chance now with The Bucket List, as Freeman’s narration talks about another man whom he says lived more…

After miraculously convincing the staff of Cedars Sinai to release her Saturday morning, a clearly deranged Britney Spears is currently at her Beverly Hills home in The Summit, PerezHilton.com has learned.
We hope she gets better, but she probably won't.
Britney is the gift that keeps on giving!!!

If you're a celebrity, you can pretty much do anything you want!
A normal person would have had to stay in the hospital for 72 hours, but Britney Spears bolted from Cedars Sinai on Saturday, just a day and a half after being admitted and put under psychiatric evaluation against her own will.
And, to make it all wonderfully surreal, none other than Dr. Phil, the TV talk show host, paid Unfitney a visit Saturday morning and was seen walking her to her car, The Insder is reporting.
This woman is CLEARLY a danger to herself and others.
Why would the hospital release her??????
Shame on you, Cedars Sinai! Shame!!!

This is a good film from the new director and screenplay writer, but not a great one.
When I first saw this film listed as Spains’ entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film for the Academy Awards on the grid at the New York Film Festival (September 2007), I was excited to see “Guillermo Del Toro presents” tagged to its title. My first thought was about the film Pan’s Labyrinth and what a statement it made in the 2006 world…

Filed under: Deals, United Artists, RumorMonger, Celebrities and Controversy, DIY/Filmmaking, Newsstand, Tom Cruise Some major major news on the strike front seems to be leaking out today, with an official announcement expected to come at some point tomorrow (according to Deadline Hollywood). Looks like United Artists (aka the movie studio run by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner) is in the process of inking a deal with the WGA that's very similar to the one they made with David Letterman's Worldwide Pants. Said deal, if it goes through, would allow United Artists to work with writers on whatever upcoming projects they have planned, making them the first such studio allowed to do this since the strike began. Damn. Score one for Tommy Boy! It's not yet known which films will take advantage of this interim deal right off the bat, but we do know that Oliver Stone's Pinkville was recently postponed due to problems with the script. Chances are, with the cast for that flick already in place, it will be one of the first delayed productions to be back in business. Of course, this is all subject to the deal actually going through.
On the other hand, United Artists could get right to work on a literary property they just optioned for seven figures. While all this interim agreement talk continues, The Hollywood Reporter tells us UA has optioned the film rights to Ranger's Apprentice, a fantasy series written by Australian author John Flanagan. According to HR, it "follows the adventures of an orphan boy named Will who becomes an apprentice ranger and fights to keep the mythical kingdom of Araluen safe from invaders, traitors and other dangers with the help of his master Halt." Yup, that sounds like just about every fantasy series being optioned these days, but what's even more interesting is that writer-director Paul Haggis was in talks to adapt and direct at one point before the strike happened and halted those discussions. Haggis doing big-budget fantasy? Bit of a stretch if you ask me -- what do you think? Permalink | Email this | Comments

If I could send a message to Britney Spears that I'd be guaranteed she would read, I'd tell her ________.
