After a long day of Britney Spears insanity, I’m glad to see my constant vigil of Kelly Brook’s vacation has hit the jackpot. Here she is sunbathing topless in St. Barts. It’s almost like Kelly Brook knew I was having a rough day so she took her boobs out. She's a keeper. You hold on tight to that one, Billy Zane. And not just because you’ll die old, bald and alone if you don’t.
NOTE: All pics are full of NSFW breasty goodness.

In these screenshots Penelope Cruz plays some sort of hot lesbian librarian in her brother Eduardo Cruz’s new music video “Cosas Que Contar.” And who’s that woman Penelope is kissing, you ask? Maybe it's, oh I dunno, her sister Monica. The idea was cooked up by Eduardo who wanted to generate some controversial publicity, according to FOX News:
“I don’t think it was a wise move for Penelope, as she has always been considered a very classy actress and it wasn’t like she was doing this for a ground-breaking film,” said Adam Weiss, CEO of Weiss PR in New York City (who does not represent Cruz). “But then again, nothing in Hollywood is surprising. People have done worse things and become much more famous as a result.”
Wow, I can honestly say that the last two people I’d want making out in my music video would be my sisters. Unless, of course, I never wanted an erection ever again. Then, yeah, this is exactly the route I would take.
NOTE: Secret kudos to Eduardo Cruz for pulling this off. Hey, they’re not my sisters.

After the smoke has cleared, Officer Ana Aguirre provided details of the incident at Britney Spears’ home. Most notably police believe the children were not in danger. The Associated Press reports:
"There was a time where she was within the residence and wasn't available to be speaking to the officers, apparently," she said. "There was no threat to the children."
"Police resolved the conflict," Aguirre said. "Both children were turned over to her ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody, and she was in fact taken to a local hospital for medical treatment."
The police are also confirming that Britney Spears was not on drugs and will not face charges:
Early police reports said officers thought Spears might have been under the influence of some substance but Aguirre said there was no evidence of that.
"Our understanding is that was not the case," she said.
Officers at the scene determined that paramedics "needed to be called" but it was unclear why, she said.
"We're not aware of any type of injuries that she sustained" and she was not combative with authorities, Aguirre said.
Spears wasn't arrested in connection with the custody dispute, Aguirre said.
"There was no actual crime that was involved," the police spokeswoman said.
So was this whole event blown out of proportion? Clearly. Has Britney’s chances at seeing her kids again increased? Unfortunately. Will the SWAT team be called in next time? God, I hope so. I want Britney to get hit with one of those beanbag guns. Mostly to see if she thinks it’s a burrito and tries to eat it.
UPDATE: The AP reports that Commissioner Scott Gordon granted Kevin Federline sole legal and physical custody of the children and Britney Spears visitation rights are suspended.

Britney Spears lost her child-visitation rights Friday following her 72-hour lockdown for a mental evaluation.
Kevin Federline is “awarded sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the minor children,” court Commissioner Scott Gordon said in a written ruling after an emergency hearing.
Gordon said Spears’s “visitation with the minor children is suspended pending further order of the court.”
The order is in effect until Jan. 14.
After the 40-minute hearing, Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said: “There are no winners here.”
He said he was “not happy about any of the events that have happened.”
Police responded to Spears’s house on Thursday night after she refused to turn over the boys to Federline’s bodyguard after a visitation day. Kaplan arrived at the house “to bring a document … that identified the existing court order” about custody, he earlier told the Associated Press.
“I was up at the guard gate where (she) lives,” he told AP. “I did not go in” to the home.
On Friday, Kaplan and Spears’s attorney met privately with the judge in his chambers, then returned in the afternoon for a closed hearing.
Spears, meanwhile, is not facing any criminal charges – for now.
“The LAPD is not planning to file any charges against Ms. Spears at this time,” Officer April Harding says. “The investigation is ongoing.”

Caution: Spoilers
I am having a real problem with this writer's strike. Almost all my shows are in reruns and I get sick of watching the same episode of Hannah Montana over and over. So, out of complete boredom, my family turned on the season premiere of Celebrity Apprentice. It was pretty good actually. But, it did look pretty easy. I think I'd be good on…

Pamela Anderson is moving ahead with her divorce despite reports that she reconciled with Rick Salomon. Pamela had Rick personally served with divorce papers on December 28, according to Us Magazine. She also wrote the following in her blog on New Year’s Eve:
"2007 was an interesting year for me. What's the definition of insanity? This is the year I do everything I wanted to do – my way... I'm going to be proud of every single day – and make sure I do not veer from the path."
Dear Pamela Anderson,
Allow me to define insanity for you: Your writing. I hope that helps you on your path. There’s no need to pay me for this service, but if you must, I only deal in one kind of currency: boob dollars. I assure you it's for purely economical reasons based on the weak American dollar and my penis has nothing to do with it. Even though he is my accountant.
Best of luck to you in 2008,
The Superficial Writer

While sites like ours struggle to decide how, in fact, we're going to cover the Golden Globes, Deadline Hollywood tells us that a number of key decisions were made late today. Firstly (and probably the most important), SAG has officially announced that none of the actors or actresses will cross the picket line and attend the awards ceremony on January 13. That was an expected decision, but still one that kind of shocks you. However, DH claims NBC is still moving forward with preparations to air the make-shift ceremony on their network. With who in attendance? Got me.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association issued the following statement: "The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has been placed in an extremely difficult position with the ongoing Writers Guild strike. We are making every effort to work out a solution that will permit the Golden Globes to take place with the creative community present to participate. We hope to announce a resolution to this unfortunate predicament on Monday." Personally, I'm not sure what the hell they're going to resolve by Monday, but I would expect NBC to fold and not televise the ceremony. How could they with no one showing up? And how ridiculous would it look if some fat studio exec was standing on stage, handing out award after award to folks who aren't there to accept them? This is what NBC wants the entire country watching? I don't think so.
Here's SAG's statement: "After considerable outreach to Golden Globe actor nominees and their representatives over the past several weeks, there appears to be unanimous agreement that these actors will not cross WGA picket lines to appear on the Golden Globe Awards as acceptors or presenters. We applaud our members for this remarkable show of solidarity for striking Writers Guild of America writers."
And here's the WGA's statement: "We are grateful to our brothers and sisters in SAG for their continued solidarity and support. The entire awards show season is being put in jeopardy by the intransigence of a few big media corporations. We urge the conglomerates to return to the bargaining table they abandoned and negotiate a fair and reasonable deal with writers to put this town back to work."
And here's Nikki Blonsky's statement: "Motherfu**ker son of a b*tch! This was my chance! You fu**kers!"
And here's Cinematical's statement: "We made up Nikki Blonsky's statement, but you have to imagine the poor girl is pretty pissed. Plucked from obscurity to star in Hairspray, nominated for an award, and she can't even show up. We feel you Nikki ... we feel you. Hug?" Permalink | Email this | Comments
